This is the same moth reported on 16 Feb 2018: https://canberra.naturemapr.org/Community/Sightings/Details/3391763 I kept the branch in a safe place and waited for the moth to emerge from its cocoon. I found the cocoon by accident when picking up the pruned branch and grasping the cocoon in my hand. The many tiny barbs caused some discomfort. My hand to swelled up and it took several days to return to normal. After the long wait it was very satisfying to be able to get the photos of the freshly emerged moth. It was quite passive and a good subject. It took a long time to get ready but eventually it was able to fly away.
