Do you think it might not be falciformis because of the grey furry branches, which could become hairless anyway if it was a bit older? Vicflora is very definite that the venation shown in your photos is diagnostic of falciformis Penninervis has a similar indentation but the lesf shape is very different.

I said furry because they felt so smooth but probably waxy is right.
