Abundant plant located on southern ridge of Mt Gudgenby. A fellow walker said it was a pepperbush

At that altitude it is more likely to be Tasmannia xerophila, which grows at over 1200 m, and has stalkless spoon shaped leaves or leaves with the more pointed end st the base. Tasmannia lanceolata usually grows at under 1200 m, and has stalked leaves with the pointed end at the tip.
