This was a gift from the people of Scotland to the people of Canberra. Those canny Scots gave us a gift that just keeps spreading

Hi Michael and Mike, I'm wondering what colour are the flowers? Would this be part of the Walter BG plan for Mount Mugga Mugga and Canberra?

It has white flowers and is not part of the WBG plan. There are only a few isolated trees that probably come from suburban gardens.I knew of the Scottish connection so came home and had a wee dram. The fruit is used in Europe for jam or cider and there is fruit lying around if you want to give it a try.
