we saw 5 Cattle Egrets fly into the cow paddock, walked to hide Cygnus and there were another 5 Cattle Egrets there on the log. Those 5 flew off and joined the other 5 which were way further back now amongst the cattle, we saw a total of 10 Cattle Egrets.

Rod, please add a comment about other species on log as the 5th, in the middle, is a bit obscure and some users do Canberra Nature Map might confuse with Ibis

On the 3rd photo there are 5 Cattle Egrets, one of them is behind a duck near the centre of the log. There are also 2 Aust White Ibis on the log, 1 is the second white bird from the left end, the other is the 3rd white bird from the right end. The other birds are ducks, we think they are mainly Grey Teals.
