The native subspecis of Acacia dealbata in the ACT is subsp. subalpina. This might be a planting.

In this case, differentiation to subspecies is done on the length of the pinnae (side stems that the leaflets are attached to) and the length of the leaflets. In mature plants it is easy. Subsp.. dealbata is a tree to 30 m hugh, subsp, subalpina a shrub to 10 m high.
