Unfortunately no, he was very unhappy at being held. There are C.robustus here around the house, and this fellow seemed much smaller and finer. Carolyn

I'm afraid we would have to stay with robustus unless we can see the back pattern, diagnostic for orientalis. As you already had it in your hand even a glimpse would have been enough. Handy to remember for next time. Smaller and finer could just mean a younger individual.
