User's notes

Not sure about this one, but not sure what else to suggest. In a pool near the river.

Stephen Skinner of the NSW Herbarium said this "is most probably a Rhizoclonium blanket-weed, from those reinforced cell end-walls. Skinner & Entwisle (2004) called most of the freshwater collections in Australia R. riparium, but both Kraft in Hobart and Bedekker in Wellington have suggested, strongly, that we were too broad in our definition. The flood-runner pools and the 'open sky' at Woodstock favour Rhizoclonium, the water is hot and the DO is depleted, just what blanket-weeds like."
