Hi John - I think this is a teneral female Blue Ringtail, but it also looks rather like a female Metallic Ringtail (although, despite being obscured by the base of the wings, I can't see any sign of a proximal tab of colour on the tergum of abdominal segment 2). Do you have a more side on shot of her?

I've posted the only other photo I had of it before it flew away. It's slightly more side-on but probably of not much help. In the camellia garden at Nil Desperandum.
