Geoff, Wil and John. I confirmed this record myself. While looking for a Little Eagle to the west of Mt Stromolo, I came across 2 x 9 rows of well embedded roof tiles, under one was a small pink tailed worm lizard that quickly moved down an ant burrow before I could photograph it. I have photographed the tile and its underneath
That is an interesting record Michael. I will go and have a look at it. Not sure who would have been doing a reptile survey there (with the roof tiles). It is a small clearing that was surrounded by pine forest (before the bush-fires). I have found Aprasia further down the creek system near the Creek but not in former pine forest. Dave W and I have a few more records from Mt Stromlo and i have been meaning to get all the records together.
The site is very close to the edge of the former pine forest, and pines probably only occurred on the southern sides of the site, meaning it would not have been heavily shaded. I think the tiles have been there for some time
