These were on a well-weathered eucalypt stump, grey and very hard wood. In the upper area of the third photo I show part of an ascus in which there are spores. The tail end of the ascus trails off to the left, further away from the camera and is out of focus. The insets show two loose spores. In this species the spores are colourless and have cross walls, both across the width and along the long axis of the spore, which divide each spore into numerous cells, each roughly rectangular in the photo (bar the apical cells).
