The descriptions state that the flowers of Acacia iteaphylla are pale. However, the one that Don photographed at planted at Scotia Sanctuary, western NSW, and confirmed by the Canberra Herbarium, has flowers as bright yellow as this one.

Thanks Betty, I was taken by the unusual way the inflorescence develops. Descriptions say 'yellow to pale yellow' and most photos are fairly bright.
