Really crap photo, but I've still not seen one of these settled and this was the first time I've tried to get a photo in flight at least. They fly fast! I've seen these several times this season, more than I can recall previously. But without photos I don't know how to record them. For what it's worth, others I've seen included 1 at Cotter River (outflow from Cotter Dam) at 11:45 h 26 March 2017, and Condor Creek at Warks Rd at 13:40 on 26 February 2017.
Yes they've had a good season this year! They do eventually settle and perch head-down from a vantage point usually in the canopy. Good to know the extra records, thanks.
