Growing on submerged rocks in Lees Creek

Stephen Skinner of the NSW Herbarium said "..is an almost fertile Spirogyra, and the indications are that it may be either S. lacustris (or other member of the S. communis group) if the spores are smooth, or S. reflexa, if the spores are like many little walnuts."
