This orchid is endemic to the Brindabella Ranges and is only recorded from a few locations. This is a previously unrecorded location.

Found one last week at Smokers Gap in an area where there used to be large numbers, until the pigs dug out the tubers a few years ago.

We walked past this lot on the way up and was really close to walking past them on the way down, its really amazing how easy it is to overlook them despite us having been looking down a fair bit since it is a great walk with lots of very nice plants, butterflies, and skinks etc. in addition to the birds.
