Looks more like Lomandra longifolia - did the tips of the leaves have 2-3 jagged ends (L. longifolia) or were the leaf tips rounded (L. multiflora)?

Thanks Michael, it had rounded leaf tips like multiflora. I think the image has been reduced so hard to make out. I had not seen it at this stage of flower before so that is what caught my eye at the time

I think it might be backlit as well so appears more like longifolia colour
