Certainly a viola. Patches scattered about the Yankee Hat/ Gudgenby plain. Not the most common of the wild flowers flowering there at the moment, but not the rarest either.
It mostly occurred in patches of one or a few plants scattered over the plain. On the Canberra side though, along and up from the river a bit was that nice big clump, and some smaller ones. Very pretty indeed they were.
