In Bulbine bulbosa, the anthers (pollen producing structures at the tops of the stamens) are attached at their bases and tend to point straight up. In Bulbine glauca, the anthers are attached away from their bases, and tend to curl.
Interesting, thanks for the comment. There are swathes of B.bulbosa flowering here at the moment in the grassy woodland, and this group of plants stand out due to their height (flower stalks a metre tall), and their growth in this steep rocky outcrop in Scribbly Gum dry forest.
