Amitermes is also found in the area and could potentially look like this. I'm not sure if the Australian species have straight mandibles or curved ones. If they have curved mandibles then this is probably quite safe at Coptotermes, assuming I'm interpreting the photo correctly. CSIRO might have specimens to check with.
