This looks to be growing on soil and I cannot see pyxidate branching (explained at: http://canberranaturemap.org/Community/Species/15575). So I opt for Ramaria.

Yes, Heino it was on soil. The area had been burned some time ago and apart from acacias many of the plants were small and not very well-developed.
