I suspect the wind and rain has knocked the petals off the flower. I think it could be a lily but it is very early and there are no others about. Any help would be great, Thanks, Peter
Great photo Peter - it actually is a sedge and does not have petals, your close up of the seed head with the big white anthers and the brown tepals (a combination of sepals and petals) with pale margins are diagnostic.
