There were a few single stem elms and lots of multi-stems suckers up to about 1m tall.
Some of the elms between the gully within the nature reserve and Valour park in the north had been cut (TAMS or contractors) however close to 100% of cut stems that we encountered had re-sprouted and or had suckers somewhere along the roots.
