Solanum nodiflorum (Solanum americanum Plantnet and Vicflora) has shiny berries usually with more than 40 seeds. It is regarded as a native and naturalised plant in NSW (whatever that means). Solanum nigrum has dull berries with usually 20-35 seeds. It is introduced.
