With 2 flowers per node and white filament hairs, this appears to be Arthropodium sp. South-east Highlands (N.G.Walsh 811) Vic. Herbarium (Arthropodium sp. A in PlantNET).

Re the previous comment. I meant Arthropodium sp. B. I have added this as a synonym.

I actually think Arthropodium sp A is more like my sighting as the anthers on species B are described as white to pale green while species A has black anthers, as does my photo.

I rejected Arthropodium sp. A because the key stated that the inner tepals in this species are fimbriate (with a fringe of hairs). The inner tepals in your photo are certainly toothed but not fimbriate. I am inclined to agree with you that the colour of the anthers is more important.

If this turns out to be Arthropodium sp. Snowy R. catchment (N.G.Walsh 6195) Vic. Herbarium (Arthropodium sp. A) this will be the first sighting in the ACT. I have contacted an expert at the Australian National Herbarium for comment.

The expert at the Australian National Herbarium says this is either Arthropodium milleflorum or Arthropodium sp. Snowy R. catchment (N.G.Walsh 6195) Vic. Herbarium but he could not see the inner tepals sufficiently clearly to be sure. He said as well " We recognise it on APC on the basis of recognition by the states, but looking at our collections I am not 100% sure that the name is being applied consistently or that we (collectively) even know what this thing is!"
