I chose this species because the bracts around the flower head are wrinkled, not smooth, as they are in P. hieracioides.

From memory it was single stemmed and couldn't be P. hieraceoides. Could it be P. jaceoides?

The same reason. The bracts around the flower head in P. jaceoides are not wrinkled.
