Mike it is a bit hard to tell from the photo - Acacia vestita has very hairy leaves, while those of pravissima have only a few hairs. The leaves look hairless but a bit hard to tell - perhaps you could zoom in on the original photo, cheers Michael

Another possibility is Acacia cultriformis. Its leaves have a waxy covering and no hairs. Acacia pravissima tends to have two main lengthwise veins, Acacia cultriformis has one.

Definitely very hairy, softer than Acacia cultriformis or Acacia pravissima. These aren't flowering yet either. I think this is one identified as Acacia vestita from a last year's photo. I originally thought Acacia pravissima when I read it was sometimes pendulous. The way the leaves attach to the stem are different too. I use this tree as a marker to a little Acacia ulicifolia which is one of the few local acacias in this area.
