Ned - I have recently pulled out about 30 of these plants quite widespread on a slope above Garran - so worth pulling out these ones before they start to spread

Thanks Ned. Still not very disguishable but perhaps someone with more experience will be able to identify it from other features. I know it's not always easy to get a side view on insects.

Ned, Possibly Porrostoma rhipidium, Long-nosed Lycid (Net-winged) beetle, but a side-on view would be good for confirmation. There are a few lookalikes.

I assume this 'Recorded on' date of 4 Jan is wrong, and that it should be October.
