The hind wing colour, with the leading edge brown and a larger fan-shaped 'anal' part violet, indicates a male Didymuria violescens.

The little brute was constantly in motion, swaying back and forth, so I couldn't get a decent focus. It's a truly strange little insect - almost like a lizard.
