User's notes

Private property. No public access without permission. The falcon had caught a very large rabbit and was being mobbed by a kookaburra. When I got out of the car to have a look, the falcon took off with the rabbit which was clearly too heavy for it to carry (first photos). It landed about 20 metres away and then got mobbed by the kookaburra and various magpies, so it flew off to a nearby perch (last photos). Hopefully the falcon managed to get back to its prize. I didn't see the falcon there again (I was working in the area) but they are very well camouflaged in the long grass.
