The prey looks like a larva of Thalaina clara (a looper, Geometridae) that feeds on Acacia foliage. See p134 my book

Thanks Roger, grabbed my copy down and yes, it does. There were a few other familiar faces on the pages nearby too, which hopefully I'll get a chance to look more closely at in the next few days, Jude
