Author's notes

Forming very large stands on dry mud at the shallow eastern end of Maffra Lake. The triquetrous stems and blue-green colour are very distinctive. The small patch of brighter yellow-green in the 2nd photo is the taller Bolboschoenus caldwellii, also very abundant.
