Rosenberg's Monitor is considered threatened in NSW and there only a few other records in the Nanima - Yass River - Sutton area.

Author's notes

Probably the same animal that has visited us (usually November and/or March) for a few years. First sighted here in October 2010. Appears to be fully grown.
