Has anyone else seen this South American weed in Canberra Nature Park recently? I would like to get rid of it before it spreads any more. The dense patch is about 1250 sq.m. with a smaller patch up hill.

Mike I suspect that Charlie Russell introduced Tweedia to Red Hill in hay that he acquired from northern NSW. We have been mattocking it off Red Hill for over twenty years. It is frost sensitive and gets knocked back by heavy frosts. I suspect that the infestation on Isaacs Ridge spread within mud on vehicles or boots from Red Hill. Cut and dab with round-up works in the more rocky areas
