There has been some discussion regarding the similarity of this species and P. falcata. Waltraud is liaising with the ANBG to confirm a way to formally identify the species. These species have been often mistaken for each other for many years as they have extremely similar characteristics. I have identified this sighting as P. calidirupium at this stage due to advice from David Nicholls, our category expert for ferns.
