Dasypodia selenophora is related to Asian moths that shelter in caves. We have come along and provided a whole lot of 'caves'. I have them in my house at present. Last night one flew as a glass exterior door I was opening. Think of it like the way Bogong Moths shelter in caves and rock crevices to escape the sun/heat.
