User's notes
Not deliberately planted, but in a garden bed so possibly came in with chip or mulch.
Photos may have rosemary or myoporum at the edges as this plant is growing up among them and blends in well.
No obvious scent when leaves are crushed.
Leaves have a very slight "sticky" feel - not as much as cassinia or stickyweed.
Tentative ID is based purely on CarbonAI suggestion.
