I asked Rosemary Purdie about this one she replied "The species is Solanum silvestre. I took a herbarium specimen of a plant (Voucher No. RWPurdie 11204) from exactly the same location (there are several plants there) in 2017. The specimen was subsequently detted as S. silvestre by Tony Bean (Qld Herbarium) in 2020; he had described it as a new species in 2006 (see https://biodiversity.org.au/nsl/services/search/taxonomy?product=APC&tree.id=51209179&name=Solanum+silvestre&inc._scientific=&inc.scientific=on&inc._cultivar=&max=100&display=apc&search=true). It has been cultivated in ANBG and is definitely an ‘escapee’ from there."
