5 planted Eucalyptus around the Hackett water tank with fine grey box bark. I collected samples of the branchlets close to three trees and took photos of the flowers/ buds at home. this photos are from the tree east of the water tank and west of the track. I took the photos of the branchlets at home. I think they demonstrate the variation reg length & bent of buds and shape, ridges of buds, presence or absence and degrees glaucousness. The variations occur in one tree, sometimes even on one branchlet. My tentative identification is Euc. albens; further suggestions are Eucalyptus moluccana or hybrid between the two species.
