User's notes
The images show what appear to be spikey scale insects in various stages of development, and a dark brown mould taking over some of the discarded casings. The insects were spread across the underside of several leaves of one bush in ANBG's Rainforest Gully. The final image shows the upper surface of one of the leaves, which shows no sign of the scale insects underneath.
