Overgrazing leading to barren sites with weeds growing again such as Paterson's curse (3 specimens highlighted blue). the area is part of the 10ha Fair improvement site which has been wood-chip mulched heavily over the past 14 years, planted with trees, shrubs and forbs and direct seeded with native grass.
