As this one has an entirely red abdomen it goes into the P.latriellii side of the couplet. It is a strongly melanistic one though, with black head and torso parts. I strongly suspect the two species might be one species. In time we are hoping to get specimens of both species for DNA sequencing and definitive comparison. Just got one of P.latriellii the other day so need specimen/s of P.spinolae now. If anyone else can help please PM me.
