Not sure of the ID on this one. Eventually ended with a Hylaeus sp. Most like H. trimerops but quite likely on the wrong track.

You are correct, Anna. It took me a while to find it. Michael Batley identified two specimens I found in the ACT as 'H. trimerops species group', based on Terry Houston's work. I didn't get a picture, but I will post the microscope images.

There have been very few sightings of this bee and all of these are a long way from the ACT. Makes you realise how little we know about species distribution.
