I suggested Scieropepla reversella because of the darker base to the palps and the streaky markings on the forewings

Can't sreally ee the dark base to the palps in this iNaturalist (NZ) image.

Not sure S. typihicola has this short darker mark on the basal section of the palps, as Con Boekel's local Scieropepla genus images seem to show.
Might be safer not to allocate a species at this stage,

The BOLD (Hobern) specimen is all white (not pink with flecks) as is the pinned specimen on Don's site. On BOLD all specimens of Scieropepla reversella are white or worn (the shiny white scales have worn off).

To complicate matters this side-on set specimen of S. reversella seems to have a dark base, but I'm not sure other examples on BOLD Hobern show this feature.
