This dragonfly flew onto the tree I was watering and stayed quite happily while I took some pictures up close. Still there 10 minutes later.

Either Eastern Evening Darner (Telephlebia godeffroyi) or Southern Evening Darner (Telephlebia brevicauda). Definitely not T. cyclops.
