I believe Anoplognathus viriditarsis is absent from the ACT, although it is present on the South Coast of NSW.

Hi both, I think I may have commented myself at some point that A. viriditarsis is absent from the ACT, so hopefully didn't start a wrong rumour. Until recently I had only seen one clear A. viriditarsis from Canberra on iNat/CBNM which was recorded dead and stuck to a car that apparently had driven over from the coast (so possibly was transported over). They are quite common along the Southeast coast. However, this year I have seen a few clear A. viriditarsis on iNat from the Mount Majura and Black Mountain area, including one male I found myself. So, looks like they are present in low numbers, and worthwhile to check the shape of the male clypeus, the extent of the tuft of orange hair at the tip of the abdomen and the extent of the white setae across the abdominal sternites to pick them out from the more common A. montanus. (These ones are clearly A. brunnipennis though).
