Have you other evidence which suggests this species?

I've had a look through the plates in Hawkmoths of Australia by Moulds, Tuttle & Lane CSIRO Publ. 2020
Acosmeryx anceus pupa does not have the trunk of proboscis sheath.
Ones that look like above are - Leucomonia bethia (Qld, NT, n1/2 WA), Psilogramma argos (north coast WA, NT,Qld), P. casuarinae (east coast Qld, NSW plus Murray Valley Vic), P. exigua (northern/top 1/4 of Aus.), P. maxmouldsi (southern Qld coast, northern NSW coast), P. menephron nebulosa (east coast Cape York to far north NSW coast), P. papuensis (east coast Qld Cape York to Atherton Tableland)
So best chance is P. casuarinae
