User's notes

We have many avian visitors to this birdbath but this is the first time we have observed an echidna in the birdbath. It languished there for a while, apparently enjoying the water. It enters and leaves from the top of the boulder behind. We have had frequent visits by an echidna to the garden recently (possibly this individual).

mum and dad used to have one visit their garden to stand in a bird bath on the ground. It had to go under a gate. You could tell when it had been as there was no water left in the bird bath and a trail of small wet footprints going under the gate and down the cement drive!
