One lonely plant but a significant sighting for me in a 1 ha area of the reserve that was once almost a monoculture of Verbascum but after 15 years of systematic weed control is slowly recovering. This first appearance of Xerochrysum viscosum is another promising sign because it seems to be a good coloniser in other parts of the reserve.
