Keyed out to Drosera hookerii.
Single stem, unbranched: leaves up to inflorescence; sepals hairy (no obs of basal rosette P?A or colour).Found in roadside vegetation, rather rocky skeletal soils.

Drosera gunniana is a good suggestion !
This specimen was too high for Drosera hookeri (according to de Salas).
According to de Salas (and also to Plantnet and FloraVic) D. hookeri can be branching though usually solitary.

Ahh I see. I feel a bit weird using plant height as the sole determining characteristic - to much interplay with environmental stochasticity. I notice that De Salas mentions the shape of the flower buds - roughly spherical vs what i'd describe as ovular

yes, I agree about plant height: its not a characteristics I would normally rely on solely to separate species. But in the field, its very noticeable how tall these Drosera are (and on quite slender stems but still erect). the other differences (colour; shape of bud; long v short indumentum on calyx) are also gradational and a bit subjective.
