Significant sighting

MichaelMulvaney noted:

15 Oct 2025

There are a few electronic records of Setocoris and most are from WA. There are also records from Tasmania (see Insects of Tasmania website). There appear to be two colour variants of the local Setocoris in south east Australia, including Tasmania, one with a green pronotum and one with a red pronotum that requires further investigation. The discovery of Setocoris on Sundews in our local region is a significant find and I urge contributors to inspect the leaves of sundews more closely to see if there are not only dead insects present but also these live mirid bugs

Thanks again to NatureMapr for learning something new. I never even knew that Drosera Bugs existed, but will certainly be looking out for them now.
